For the Vols to win tonight they gotta do these 3 things
Keep Bammer off the glass, Bammer is one of the best teams in the country at rebounding

Contain the duo of Brandon Miller and Sears. Those two combine for over 32PPG, they’re so electric and aggressive.

Vescovi has got to shoot well and be aggressive. Otherwise no win

I know you didn’t ask for my opinion but hey - message board! 🤪

Renting for $2500/month is $30,000 spent at the end of the year with nothing left to show for it…at least when you buy, you have something of value - may be less valuable but it will still have value. 🤷🏻‍♀️

They are a three point shooting…. Fast pace…. High volume shooting team… they had several games where they were in the high 40% 3 point shooting…. The problem isn’t with teams getting hot against us… it is that teams have figured out a way to get those shots against us. We were defending them a lot better than now…. It’s not a coincidence that the only three teams to shoot 35% or better from three against us is Florida, Vandy, and Mizzou…. Our three upset losses.

You need a pep talk, great one. This is going to be an awesome game. This is only the third time in history that there has been a matchup of top 10 teams in TBA, and we are 2-0. We have a chance to beat the #1 ranked team in the country. We have a chance to beat Bama again just like football. (If we win, please start a "Just like football" cheer!) We may have had a rough week last week, but we are 10th ranked and we have beaten head-to-head #5, 6, and 8. We belong. The team has played their rears off all year and deserve the fans rallying behind them. Now, could we lose? Of course we could, but that is ball; every team could always lose. Bring the spirit and root on our Volunteers.

Now as for white Vol gear, I don't have any either, but I wouldn't sweat it. There's something you could pick up today. Or just wear a white dress shirt under your orange, and peel off the layer in TBA. Don't let the details get you down. Go see us beat Bama. If we win this one, we need you to give us a firsthand account of TBA. And I want you to start that cheer!

Carr’s asking price will be too much for Carolina as are on limited cap room space as it is now. As a Panthers fan, I would hope they take the chance on Hendon in the 2nd/3rd round. I’ll be so disappointed if they go after AR15 or Levis.

LOL. Frank Reich is a terrible head coach. If I were around Carr I'd tell him to stay as far away as possible from him.

Didn't watch the Florida game, but I did watch Vandy and Mizzou and it really was mostly a lack of good perimeter defense from the bigs. Uros, Aidoo, ON and even Awaka all have to be better at defending the 3. Losing JJJ and Phillips also didn't help.

Hard to bother a 3 shooter when you've got small guards that don't really do a great job challenging shots (ZZ, Santi, Key). JJJ and Phillips both have great length so it's a bigger challenge.


Still Mizzou shot their best game of the season against us, and as McGill pointed out likely won't do it again you can debate if that's on our defense, sheer luck, or Mizzou just being elite from deep....the why doesn't change his point though and neither does pointing out how much PPG they average.
