This is the really scary one. FedEx and UPS are the pulse of the economy. The flow of goods goes as they do. This is a scary mine canary.
”President Biden: 'More than half the women in my administration are women'
He personally checked each one.

He personally “smelled”each one.
My wife's company is one of the biggest wholesalers in the building sector (commercial, residential, industrial) and they've started layoffs as well. I worked for them during the last housing bust and it sounds like they're using a similar strategyThis is the really scary one. FedEx and UPS are the pulse of the economy. FedEx to cut senior jobs as part of larger staff reduction
That’s sounds like another ominous indicator also. Amazon is likely another one in the current economic structure to pay attention to and the post I quoted I believe pointed to them laying off.My wife's company is one of the biggest wholesalers in the building sector (commercial, residential, industrial) and they've started layoffs as well. This is going to be an interesting one to watch. Companies are still struggling to attract and keep the right employees in the current environment but they will be forced to cut payrolls if income erodes. That’s always play 1 in the playbook. We’re gonna get a look at which companies are actually well ran and find a way to balance this downturn.
It’s all about stock price for publically held companies. That’s the price paid to raise those funds from share holders.Stock price plays into it more than we want to admit, even profitable companies will cut staff to show investors they are proactive. The "you're only as good as your last quarter" mentality drives too many decisions.
