It was a small challenge getting out of my 24/7 post-retirement slobwear when I started back to college three weeks ago, but I’ve figured it out. I have classes M, repeat on W and on Tu, repeat on Th. So whatever shirt and sweater I wear to church on Sunday, I add jeans and wear again Monday and Tuesday (different classes.) Change to different shirt and sweater for Wednesday and Thursday.

I don’t have to decide what to wear in the morning, there’s only two outfits a week, no one has to look at them twice, and my beloved slobwear is reserved for home.

I watched with bemusement the miserably cold other students in their ripped jeans and fuzzy bedroom slippers last week when it snowed.
