East Tennessee Weather II

There’s just enough to sort of put a little white color into some things here in Hardin Valley. It’s not enough to even call it a dusting, more like a flaking. There’s a few flurries flying this morning still.

Here's the storm damage reports from Morristown. There were a total of 3 tornadoes in East TN the other day.

This is going to be a below average snow season. It’s possible we’ve seen all the accumulated snow we’re going to see in Knoxville. That’s my guess anyway.

Here is a useful map from Morristown that breaks down the different areas in East TN. It shows exactly where certain areas mentioned in their forecasts are. If you ever wanted to know how the valley locations are divided, you now know.

The SE Ridge has killed East TN’s snow chances during what would have been a very favorable pattern.
Anything on the horizon? I’m shocked it’s been so long since we’ve had a really big snow, like 8+ inches. That one last Spring was a solid 6. I’m in West Knox.

West TN through Middle TN getting a potentially dangerous ice storm. Memphis under an Ice Storm Warning.

East TN Valley: 40s and rain, rain, rain…
