Huepel took a 2 year roster of rejects and hand me down talent and led the nation in scoring. Even the D progressed. In 2 freaking years. No Year 0.
What did we give up on average on D..23 PPG. The stats are remarkable and if not by a horrible game and an injury, we would be playing tonight. I believe it. And it takes luck..heck our 1999 squad was loaded and lost 3.
Give Huepel anywhere close to an Alabama roster and we are playing tonight and many more nights.
