I really don’t understand why this is even an issue. This is exactly how pro sports are. Not everyone gets paid the same
I have a friend who’s son is a D1 pitcher he’s on a 25% scholarship. This does include a meal plan but if practice runs late the dining hall is closed by the time he gets there. So it’s up to him to get/pay for his own food.
She helps him out of course but it can get expensive. Now think about him having a teammate who’s got a six figure NIL deal and he’s just trying to eat regularly.

I’ve got 5 kids under the age of 12 and the only way we can run the household is with their help. I can only truly focus on three things at a time throughout my day so we created a chart for the kids where they measure themselves daily on these three things:

1. Did you honor others today?
2. Did you listen well?
3. Were you a victim or Victor?

They grade themselves and then rewards or punishments are given out at the end of the week. Some byproduct we didn’t think of is the transfer of ownership to them via the chart. They are less angry with us as we can simply say, “remember the chart.”

Just thought I’d share.

Well, that really puts it in perspective.

That’s not what that says.

It says if a player has played in 4 games, they can play in a bowl game and still take a redshirt.
I think you could read this as saying that EEs could play in the game as a member of the 2022 squad without it counting against them as eligibility. Not an NCAA rule expert by any means, but just thinking creatively.
