Especially if you have a team that is literally going nowhere. If you are 6-4 or 7-3, you have nothing to play for Championship-wise so you should just leave it all out on the field.

I’m tired of seeing these teams getting conservative at the end of halves/games. Maryland could have pushed the issue on that 3rd and 13 but choose to let the clock run down before running another play. Like you have 6 wins and nothing to lose. Why play like that?
