That’s me with CJM at the ‘86 O&W game in my avi. I was 8 .I Started to understand and follow some during ‘85 and by 1-1-1986 was all Vol as I remain to this day .

Doug Dickey was the first coach I remember hearing about around my house. Him and Bobby Scott. I met Bobby Scott when I was 9 or 10 on the strip at the Varsity Inn.

Listening to George Mooney on my Transistor Radio. The game was in 1959 and Tenn and LSU ( who was ranked #1 and had the Chinese bandits on the DL. Tennessee made a goal line stand and won 14 to 13. Bowden Wyatt was Coach and I hadn't missed much since.

September 18, 1993 - 8 years old - Phillip Fulmer

I spent the night at a friend's house on Friday night. His family was huge Vols fans and seeing the passion they had for this team sucked me right in! They served fried gator tail nuggets.

Vols lost a close one and would lose to UF several years in a row before I saw them win one.
