Windy's football discussion thread.

I didn’t realize that you had so much personal knowledge of Cali from residence there.

Every state in this country has great things and not-so-great things going on (well, there’s Bama, I suppose.)

Cali is winning the most quickly spiraling the drain award for fallen civilization though. The good news is they had achieved such a high state in the past that it's a long fall. There's a damn good reason their fleeing. I have a great deal more experience about cali then I did a few years ago, as their people have fled here in great number and they're all the first ones to declare what ****hole it has become. They had everything going for them and flushed that state down the drain.....now large sections of once beautiful cities look like third world shanty towns. In their defense the rest of Merica may not be far behind.

I’ve read and listened to so much evidence about how Bama lost the game through bad calls on offense and the refs stole it, that I’m not sure we can really say that the streak is ended. May have to put a big ole asterisk in the record book and roll it to next season. Only question is, if Bama wins next year, is it treated like double or nothing where they claim 17 in a row or does it go down as 16* in a row? Could split the baby and call it 16.5 but I think that would require a footnote for posterity.

I’m also wondering what kinda score Vols need to post to maintain poll position. Since FCS games don’t usually get odds, we don’t have an official spread to cover. If Bama beats the holy hell out of Miss State and we squeak one out against UTM, could the Tide possibly leapfrog us next week?
