What did you have for dinner II?

Saturday I had buffet fixings from Moe’s at my nieces wedding. Well, the wedding. Brief history…my dad was elder in the the church going up and for most of my adult life as well. We were raised in the church. Typically, my wife and son and myself are the only ones in the sibling hood of my family that actually go. Unfortunately I will concede that hasn’t been much of late. But back to the wedding. Apparently my nieces and nephews can’t do much with friends that doesn’t involve alcohol as the main entertainment. I’ve never been to a “secular” wedding. And I’ll leave that right there.

Ruby's.....and an after dinner Frappe'.....you know it

Carrabba's is quite possibly the best Italian chain, follwed closely by Macaroni Grill.

Things that were most excellent at Carrabbas:
Pork tenderloins with fig reduction. Oh Lawd!
Italian suasage and lentil soup. Superb!
The Mussels appetizer. Excellent.

Best thing about Carrabba's...The happy hour/weekday dinner specials. Super good food at super good prices.

I agree! My favorite food is lasagna. They have a great version. I tend to get some of their chicken dishes though, because those are even great.

Always get peach sangria!

One of the best steaks I've ever had in a restaurant is the Italian Ribeye at Romano's Macaroni Grill. And their peasant bread is spot on. Overall menu and food quality still goes to Carrabba's.
