Barometric fuses were very common at the time but I was curious so I looked it up. Little Boy at least used a multistage fuse implementing fixed timer, then baro arming, and final radar altimeter firing.

I don't know about where everyone else is but all you have to do is look at fast food restaurants. For years in late Summer/fall on Friday nights they would stay open late usually until 11PM/12AM and possibly a drive through until 1AM. Now except for McDs, they are closing their doors at 9PM and if your lucky a drive through will be open until 10PM

The labor participation rate is still significantly below pre-Covid levels, and we’ve added 4+ million illegal immigrants that aren’t even being counted.
