The Atlanta Braves

The lack of a Stephens appearance in this game makes me wonder if tomorrow is going to just be a pen game with him opening. Doesn’t feel like Snit trusts Odorizzi in this moment and it’s hard to blame him if that’s the case.

We should know in the 2nd or 3rd inning if the Mets won or lost the first game, assuming no rain delays. They may let him try to go for it if the Mets lose and he gets through the first couple of innings quickly. Wouldn’t really be a reason not to at that point
There’s a zero percent chance the Braves let him throw 8.2 tonight.

Well yeah, I don’t by any means expect him to be anywhere near efficient enough to go that deep. Just saying if the Mets lost and he somehow was shoving early (again, not that I expect that to happen)

The point is if a Mets loss goes final while he’s still in the game, there’s no longer a downside to having him throw a full starter load

I'd be surprised if he doesn't get it anyways.
