I bet UGA will be contacting him now since he chose to go to UT's Junior Day over theirs. Just like offering Geathers after his visit with UT. I'm not sure what's up with them. I think they are miffed with Kiffin and this is Saint Richts way of lashing out instead of saying something and hurting his God like image.

Whitakers Quote:
Whitaker said he hasn’t had much contact with Georgia since January. “It has been a minute. I haven’t talked to them too much. But that’s not much of anything. I know what Georgia has to offer. I’ve been up there so many times, I know all about Georgia.”

Blake Sims out of Georgia seems to be on his way as well.

I’m looking forward to going to Tennessee on Saturday and trying to develop a relationship with the coaches,” Sims said. “Junior Day is a good time for me to go and meet [Tennessee] coach [Lane] Kiffin.

As time passes I think the interest in UT will grow with these younger athletes. We can expect more teams like UGA pulling this kind of "no I want him" kind of stuff after we show attention to recruits.

Rex or somebody..can we get a list of who all will be here for junior day. Texas got like 10 commitments after theirs. Hopefully we can land 1 or 2.

Texas always gets early commits. Thing is, most of their players come from TX. They signed 20 players for 2009 and 19 were from Texas. They already have 11 commits for 2010 and all of them are from TX. They have all these in state guys growing up loving Texas football and recruiting is pretty easy for them. Most of these guys already planned on signing even before Junior Day.

Texas requires them to commit early, if they dont they pass on them. Creer would have gone to Texas but he said all along he didnt want to be pressured into committing.

I think Jack's thread is good. It ought to be fun watching over the next 365 to see how these guys perform and how many commit. I like these kids from GA giving us so much attention too.

I was only giving you a hard time by the way.

I don't care who posts the info or manages the list, but several people had asked about junior days and I thought I'd get the ball rolling.

Still waiting on other people to post names & links though.

I've done some searching and haven't found many names confirmed for next weekend and most of Rex's recent posts have mentioned players visiting other schools' junior days.

Hopefully there will be some more big names. The more big names commit, still better chances for Charles and Brown to commit......

Jeremy Richardson added.

He's a 6'4 WR from Springville, AL who reports a 4.53 forty.

It would be great to add a second Richardson.
