Agreed. Heupel has called a solid game. I know it’s not the popular opinion, but we’ve had several dropped passes, a lost fumble, multiple penalties. Just sloppy play. If executed properly, we are winning by 3 scores right now.

If targeting is going to be part of the game then it needs to be called on the offense too. Every time a runner lowers his head and makes contact it’s a penalty and they’re disqualified.

Helmet to helmet is not targeting. I've seen it called twice and no targeting was called in games today.

We can pretty well guarantee a loss to FL and anyone else who can call a halfway decent game. Our Offense isn’t strong this year. We aren’t catching anyone by surprise anyone. Opposing defenses have adapted and Huepel hasn’t.

I’m this situation ya he lowered his helmet but the returner made a last second dip straight into his body. What’s he supposed to do? Just let him run him over with his helmet to his chest. Sometimes lowering yourself will mean the helmet will be first.
