We play them 7 times the rest of the season, all in Atlanta. It would be glorious to win all 7 but we will definitely need to win at least 5 of those to have a chance.

I’ll put it to you like this, I’m a big fan of the Mets, have been since I was little but...my heart is with the Braves! I spent many days in Fulton county stadium or in the recliner watching TBS, with my papaw.
I’ll be excited if the Mets win it but it will mean a little more if the Braves do.

Man I didn’t realize how much the Yankees had fallen off. They now have the 4th best record in the majors and the Braves are only 4 GB of them. The Mets have the 2nd best record in baseball

It feels like the Dodgers and Trash-stros will be having a rematch and the Dodgers will exact their revenge. I know MLB is probably rooting for a NY-LA World Series though, so I could definitely see that happening too.

As much as I hate the Yankees, I wouldn’t mind one bit if Judge broke the HR record. The roid ragers tainted that record and it would be nice to have a clean guy sitting at the top.

Agreed! From afar, Judge seems like a good kid. As far as I’m concerned, Hank Aaron, the Babe and Roger Maris, are still and always will be the Homerun Kings!

I couldn’t not root for the kid but he did not help his cause with that play.
I hope he does well and has a nice career in the pros, whether it be NFL, CFL or whatever.

I hope he has a successful career as well. He just made a very bad decision at a crucial part of the game. He is getting a fresh start with NFL coaching. With Murray’s injury history, you never know. He might get some snaps in the regular season at some point.

Now that I think about it, they get new LLWS uniforms issued anyways so they won’t be wearing their normal uniforms. They usually just read “Southeast” on them if I’m not mistaken?
