Celebrities react to Brittney Griner's 9-year Russian prison sentence: 'This hurts'
The celebrities are on the job.

That's my point. Why wasn't it a bug deal when a White woman was imprisoned over there, but now that Griner is the world is going to end if she doesn't come home. It should be all or none especially if Russia is getting back an international arms dealer. We shouldn't leave any Americans to rot in Russian prison.
Is this true though? Actual stats show that people in prison with drug related offenses have a list of other charges and repeat offenses. There is nothing like what happened to Griner happening in the US. At worst, she would be hit with a misdemeanor and fine.No. Harsh sentences for realtively safe drug use is usually only found in America.
Uh not hardly.. Possession of alcohol is Saudi is punished with a public flogging and multiple years in prison.No. Harsh sentences for realtively safe drug use is usually only found in America.
If people gave a **** about that, then why are there two other Americans over there for the same crimes being fought for just as hard?

touche. My point is, if it's just some spoiled professional player who hates America. whatever, that's on her. We don't leave them there just because of that.
Whoa whoa whoa..common responsibility and personal accountability are White supremacy traits so they cannot be applied in such broad strokes! So here's a primer on avoiding foreign imprisonment:
1. Don't travel to countries that are long- standing enemies of the U.S.
2. Don't possess illegal drugs
Did you feel that way when Otto Warmbier was rotting in a North Korean prison? Did you say "oh well tough chit" he broke the law?
