I talked with some people inside the football office today about Brown and they said Brown is a real possibility, but there is still a lot of work to do.

They also said his attitude and personality are a good fit for Tennessee. However, they are concerned about Butler and his involvement after Brown signs with a school - very hands on.

Is rex usually reliable?

I trust Rex's judgement more than most. He usually does not put anything in print like his post without good sources. He was wrong on JJ this year be used the IMO before 90% of his posts.

I think Charles is a key to Brown and here is where it gets tricky. I think Brown has already signed with UT and it is a Nuke Richardson type deal. I could be wrong but my gut says he is a Vol.

The USC withdrawal and the Miami threat of pulling his LOI indicates that he may have signed or is a solid commitment. He has issued a statement, however his mother dad and Bulter have in the last two days.

Rex, Sabbanocchio, and Tennessee Jack are the three I look to for recruiting info. Add justingroves and vols kick balls for other info about recruiting. There are others but these five stay on top of it closely and have good reliable sources.

His whole recruitment has been a drama and not so much on his part but on Bulter's behalf.

Look at where he is signing his letter of intent on March 16. It will be a production.

I've been around awhile. Rex goes through other boards and gathers a lot of info from other respected people. Rex is very reliable. Rex wouldnt say anything unless he TRUELY believes it.

I can only imagine what a recruiting visit to LSU is like. Allen from Paris loved it - My money's on they took him gator hunting and then filled him full of Cajun water.
