That's what's always cracked me up about the New York SAFE Act. The 1911 was allowed under the law (being limited to seven round mags) and I'm thinking "that pistol has killed more people than typhoid..."

Here’s the deal you gotta start somewhere though on anything and you do it by banning everything up from a standard hunting rifle. As I have stated you don’t have to get into the specifics of what your fun gun is and get all mad they gonna take my guns that evil gubberment!! Nobody is gonna take your guns relax you will be able to sleep with your precious AR tonight. Anything over a standard shotgun or hunting rifle should be banned for sale to the public. How hard is that to understand??? That’s the bill I would push and pass. It’s my viewpoint and my stance on it. Full auto is worthless. Binary trigger…..which is completely legal…..puts just as many down range with a lot more control.

It’s actually why I don’t care about full auto. I don’t want full auto. But if you’re at the range with me then you’d never be able to tell the difference.
