The Culinary Arts Thread

I did that the first part of the summer with Andy Griffith, Raymond, and King of Queens on I think it is channel 57 here.
Now I'm doing a rewatch of all seasons of Colombo on Freevee.
ELR, AG, and KoQ... All 3 100 times each. :) Colombo I haven't got to rewatch. However, I believe I've seen most of the series when it was new. Lol

Garmin Forerunner 955 gets first real firmware update, but no SatIQ

One feature that is noticeably missing from this list is something called SatIQ. We are looking forward to this feature. What exactly does it do, you might be wondering.
This is new functionality that has recently been made available on the latest Alpha software version for the Fenix 7 and Epix 2 watches. And it sounds like it will be very useful. Presumably, all Garmin watches with dual-frequency GNSS will ultimately get the feature.
SatIQ is a technology that aims to preserve the battery life on your watch while not compromising GPS accuracy. It does this by figuring out the optimal GPS mode based on your current environment. So instead of keeping your watch on the Multiband GNSS option which is the most precise but also most battery hungry, you can choose AutoSelect in the settings on your device.

Sounds fascinating. I’m fascinated by how good the battery is in the 935. It’s supposedly remarkably better already in the 955. If it gets even better? Sign me up
Yeah that's huge for me. I'm leaning towards it even more now.

It's different than I thought. I believe it's very well done and respectful, if that makes sense.

First time since GoT I can't wait to watch another episode.
Jmho.

Respectful, that is what I was worried about it not being. Was afraid they may try to make it scandalous, but I haven’t heard that about it at all.

It's funny, I left my watch on the charger and left the house. Didn't have time to go back and get it. First time I remember ever doing that.

Anyway, the thing I missed most about it was the fear of leaving my phone somewhere.

I think the screen on my Garmin Forerunner 220 is done. If so, I may pick up a new Garmin during prime.
I'd definitely get the 255 if it was touchscreen. I'd deal with it being smaller than what I wanted if it did.

I do like all the options Garmin has.

Edit, that wasn't a suggestion for you BTW, I was just saying.
