Think so? Or, would he have left her over there for awhile if the evidence is that she was actually breaking Russian law? I mean if she is guilty then she probably needs to stay for at least an equivalent amount of time that she would have served here. She already has a record from what is posted in this thread.

Nah. He would have gotten her out. Just like the basketball player, Ball. But one thing is for certain Biden is not capable of doing a dang thing. He has issues with performing routine tasks. Grinder is screwed.

Joe hasnt been even minimally proactive on inflation and gas prices, not sure why Brit would thing he'd do anything quickly for her

Officials say President Joe Biden has read WNBA star Brittney Griner's handwritten letter

Brittney Griner's appeal to President Joe Biden in a handwritten letter continued to garner reaction Tuesday after the WNBA All-Star acknowledged she feared never returning home and asked Biden to not "forget about me and the other American Detainees."

Griner's letter was delivered through her representatives to the White House on Monday, and officials say the president has read it. However Griner's wife, Cherelle, said Tuesday on a morning talk show that she hadn't heard from Biden.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked repeatedly about Griner on Tuesday during the regular briefing. She said Biden read the letter, but she did not detail his reaction.

"This is very personal to him."

Like I said, it is hard for me to believe that they initially targeted a WNBA player as a way to gain some kind of political leverage with the US. Hell, if anything, they would be offering Snowden up to the US for this arms dealer.

I don't think it's a tool of leverage with the United States, but I do think she was targeted for other reasons. Russia is elevating their persecution of gays, and detaining a high-profile (relatively, speaking) and obviously homosexual athlete is a way to send a message to other gay athletes : Don't come here.

I wouldn't give them any more info on it.

My point is there was a domestic incident or more, and plenty of people don't like her because of the bad taste it left in their mouth. They can go over to the Lady Vols board and poll them on her popularity.
