Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

Mine is a 350 mercury and I run 87 octane, no ethanol.

The one you posted is probably has an inmar and 87 will be fine.

It's a Mercury 150 outboard on that one.

Nice looking boat though. I didn't stick around for the cussing I feel happened while he was filling it up.

I ate at Pappasitos a few times, mostly when work lunch was catered. Frankly wasn't impressed. Of course I ate at Dreamland BBQ one time and it was utter trash.
The only time I ever ate Chick-fil-A was when it was catered in for a work lunch, and it was utter trash in my opinion. People swear by it and I'm not impressed no matter what people say.

I wouldn't judge them by the catering. Food quality suffers. In fact, pappasitos is not as good sun at 11 am as it is Sat night at 8 because they are using some of the night before (I think).

If you don't like it, more for me.

I ate in restaurant a couple of times as well for weekday lunch with clients ...Sorry...you wanna fight about it?

My niece was an intern at corporate Chick-fil-A while she was going to UT and she "catered" a couple of family get together's. The younger ones loved it, the older one's not so much, but my kids grew up eating Chicken McNuggets and to this day I don't think either one of them will eat a burger. The only acceptable way to eat chicken is good old-fashioned FRIED in a cast iron skillet, like my grandma made it.

Np. I started looking but then I came to realize I may actually like a Golden Lab, or Retriever/Lab mix. The Retriever might shed a little too much and be higher maintenance. I'm not in a hurry but was looking 6 months out. If you find it then cool otherwise I might be able to locate a breeder closer to Mid Tn. I always associate you with this area because of Raider in your name.
LOL on the shedding.... I was thinking of that yesterday when I was filling up the hand vac with doggy hair if I should warn you.

A lab is a great choice. My neighbor's daughter has one that is about 18 months old, I will see where they got it.

Yours is EFI with digital engine control now too right? The new Mercs don’t even have cable steering anymore it’s completely electronic helm and controls.

You are a parasite on the American Economic Engine now old man. Irrelevant to any discussion now and on my Ignore! Go tell us about the 10# Bass you caught and the foot wedge 78 on the course.

oh you can count on that happening. Now shut up up and go fund my social security. 😈

You aren’t that far behind me.

AKA planned obsolescence. I hate having a chip do every function of a car or boat or household fan these days.
Maybe. Damn sure makes it harder to work on. But they can do some amazing things with those electronic helms. You should see the multi engine outboards steer in opposing directions for docking. Amazing.

Pulling out at the boat ramp guy walks up and asks if I knew a good welder. He’s in town with his family for his daughters softball tournament so he drug his bass boat with him, right outside of Nashville he hit a pothole and broke a cross member on his trailer. I called my welder and he’s going to open his shop up for him tomorrow.

Nice. Well done. We will continue to tolerate your intrusions into our domain for a bit longer to recognize your good deed.

Helpfulness.
