Roe vs Wade Overturned

You're right. Nothing was burned. No shops were looted. THese are not the droids you seek....
Yet here you are.
😂🤡

You're a master at redirecting a topic into irrelevant detours, aren't you? Of course, you are. Have a nice day, and I ask you yet again to stop doing this back side thing you keep doing to me, it really does tickle.

Wow! No point is trying to discourse with an uneducated, narrow-minded creature who can't even read. Done with you, Orangutan, no point to continue this discourse with you.

I am a happy lark tonight..suck it Mr Wisdom.

Weird that she is smiling and laughing as she joins the crowd in chants. It's enjoyable to her. She needs to go find one of those demon looking "birthing persons" and ask she/her/it how it's supposed to be done. Laughing while protesting doesn't make you look serious and upset about the ruling. Let that pent up hate and anger out! Scream at the sky! It won't change anyone's opinion but if it helps you feel better then you do you. Please don't burn, vandalize or loot any more buildings and businesses during your "peaceful" protests.....................
AOC is a performative artist, a social influencer that just also happens to be a Congresswoman. I've never liked her much. She is of the Bernie ilk, rant about everything, demand someone do something, collect bird app likes. Not to derail the thread, but take student loan forgiveness for instance; if she wants and believes it is so imperative, WRITE THE DAMN BILL, get cosponsors, take it to the floor of the House instead of kicking the can to Biden.

Tennessee has a "trigger ban" for abortion on the books. The law was written in 2019; in the event Roe is overturned, after 30 days a near total abortion ban would go in to effect. There are no exceptions for rape or incest. There are exceptions if the life of the mother is at risk (the wording is pretty specific, not her health being at risk, but her life).

So the abortion ban in Tennessee will go in effect late July.

Does that include the morning after pill?

Then vote those people out and make Tennessee more suitable to your ideology. We have the best system in the world to enact change by the power of the people . We just got use to trying to chip away at it through the courts , compromised judges and politicians that only have their best interests at heart . Sometimes the doing the right thing hurts but it’s best for everyone in the long run .
The broader issue with this ruling is Thomas's concurrent opinion. Contraception, interracial marriage (which he omitted from his opinion, surprise), same-sex marriage/relationships, basically anything that is based on right to privacy and the right to equality in the 9th and 14th are on the table now. There will be some draconian, discriminatory laws passed in certain states if those are overturned. And if this court is any indication, that will happen. Tennessee will be one of those states. I've lived here my entire life, and I believe you have as well if I recall correctly, and you know the TN state government will not take a libertarian approach to these issues.

This opened a can of worms far more impactful than just Roe.

Don't quote me as I'm not entirely certain, but I believe it does not. I think there was a law passed a few months ago that required a woman to see a physician to acquire it.

If TN passes any laws banning BC, same sex marriage or interracial marriage I will join you in working to vote people in that will change it.
