Ten Vols Named To Athlon Sports Preseason All-SEC Teams - University of Tennessee Athletics

Redshirt-senior receiver Cedric Tillman and senior defensive lineman Byron Young highlight the Big Orange contingent with first-team All-SEC selections. Redshirt-senior QB Hendon Hooker and senior linebacker Jeremy Banks represent Tennessee on Athlon's All-SEC second team.

Senior offensive lineman Jerome Carvin, junior edge rusher Tyler Baron and senior punter Paxton Brooks were recognized as third-team honorees, while junior running back Jabari Small, senior offensive lineman Darnell Wright and senior safety Trevon Flowers garnered fourth-team preseason accolades.

Yep. There's value in not having both Georgia and Alabama on your schedule. For the Vols and Auburn they're there every year.
What’s worse is if you’re Tennessee and somehow beat Bama once, you likely get to play them again in the sec title game. One of the toughest roads to the championship for the last few decades.

Last time we won against both was 2006 and still didn't get to SECCG. I would love to be worrying over how we beat them twice. 😁

Let's not forget with this friendly reminder....

Coach Josh Heupel won a National Championship as a quarterback in 2000 and led UCF to a 12-1 record as a head coach in 2018.

We have a winner at the helm.

Go Vols!

If they're offering 50 to 1, that means they are confident the odds are less than that, so they can make money from people taking the bet.

Related issue, I think that UCF national championship is completely legitimate. No one beat them and they beat Auburn, who beat both Alabama and Georgia.

Yes. You might be glad to learn it is now officially recognized as a National Championship in the record book!

In the official NCAA record book, the University of Central Florida and the University of Alabama are the co-National Champions of 2017.

Interesting take from a Florida Gator fan.

His preseason predictions.

Has us as the only team beating Georgia and the only team keeping it close with Bama.
