The Atlanta Braves

The depth that this team has is totally unfair. Even if our starter totally doesn't have it, a guy from the bullpen steps up. It is really, really hard to go through this lineup 3 or 4 times without having them touch a pitcher up. We have multiple guys coming off the bench who hit over .300 with double-digit homers.

It is going to take some truly special performance on the part of another team to beat Tennessee twice. I have orange-colored glasses on but I'm not really aware of a hole anywhere on this team.

Nope it's not your glasses. That's the nation media narrative as well. Usually you can pick out something and say attack them here but with this team you can't.
Tbh the one way to attack them is throw a bunch of junk ballers and there are a few reasons why that won't work. One they figure it out and time it. Two, how many college pitchers have breaking balls that are actually good?

The junk baller idea works once, maybe twice, through the lineup. In the SECT final UF did that, and it worked for a few innings before our hitters caught on and began annihilating it. I don't see that strategy working for a 9 inning game, and in order to get Tennessee out of the postseason at this point they have to lose twice, and I see it being really difficult for the same team to beat Tennessee twice.

It is so damn hard to beat them because they have so many arms and so many bats. Does the inexperience, particularly in the rotation, catch up with them at some point? Maybe that is the flaw, but you have to look hard. Regardless it will take some kind of incredible, Johnny Manziel against Alabama-type effort to beat them.

I think that's the other question. Will the youth at pitching let them down.
However, I don't know about throwing a guy with a big fastball at em. This team has proven time and time again they hit the fastball.

Christian Moore is a freshman who had a 1.000 OPS and comes off the bench. Jared Dickey would start for any other team in the country, but got hurt and Seth Stephenson has been playing great. It’s insane.

We have dudes throwing 90 MPH curveballs and Rob Manfred thinks that the baseball is going to make guys start putting the ball in play!

My knowledge of college baseball is quite limited, but it seems like this year's Vols team has to go down as one of the most dominant in the history of the sport, doesn't it? I mean, a 56-7 regular season? How is that even possible? They went a combined 11-0 against UF, Ole Miss, and Vandy and outscored them 77-23.
