War in Ukraine

It wasnt 80+ days. If we are going to discuss, lets do so honestly.
Oh really? What did they just start attacking Mariupol two weeks ago Larry?

Yes it was 80+ days. Mariupol was one of the first engagements on Feb 24 and you can’t drop enough Russian state media to change that Larry.

On and Mariupol is what happens when you can’t get resupplied.

One of the best fighting units Ukraine had, entrenched in an urban environment and the invading force had equal or lesser numbers. Resupply or not, that was impressive. To think they could pull that off and not be able to take Kyiv, if they wanted, doesnt really add up.

Mariupol has been over for weeks. Hell they are already turning power/water back on and rebuilding. Lol. Be honest.

It adds up completely Larry. Hard to fight a war without ammunition, food, and medical supplies. Which is why Mariupol finally fell after 80+ days and they 💩 the bed when they tried to take Kyiv.

I am being honest. And turning on power shouldn’t take long fire up a couple of portable generators on the four or five buildings still standing?

And it’s deliciously rich as hell to see your ass tell someone else to be honest Larry 🤡

4:1 is likely low at this point. Trench warfare where one side has decided air superiority. Welcome to reality.

Air superiority. That's rich.

Not sure why you're half way up Putin's assh*le, but as a Tennessee grad, I say you're a disgrace to this board. Obvious to anyone with 2 eyes and a functional brain.

Buy yourself a ticket to Moscow and do us all a favor, donkey.

Does that mean we shouldn't strive for some kind of normalcy - that we should just roll over and say "that's just the way it is"?
I've been over this time and time again and it just gets called a "whataboutism" by you guys. But it just seems like we are selective about which situations we feel the need to insert ourselves. I could give you examples, but again, that would be whataboutism. I am curious (really I'm not curious, I have a hunch) what makes Ukraine so unique that we would go this hard in the paint.

How about recognizing that some of the boundary shifts were imposed in treaties over the years, and that they were boundaries and conglomerations of religions and ethnicities that never made sense in the first place - like hammering square pegs into square holes and calling it a good job. When is the world "evolved" enough to say this is how it is, or do we just live in an unhappy state of flux?
You mean like the Sykes-Picot boundaries drawn up a century ago that are still causing havoc today and that we (The US) still try to take advantage of? Iraq and Kuwait ring a bell in 1990? Hey, what about the 1948 partition of Palestine?

oops... I fell into that "whataboutism" trap again.

Point is that again, it seems we are very selective about which situations we chose to intervene in.

So many they are left in the fields to rot as Ukraine can no longer collect and bury their own dead. Many times Russia ends up doing it. Unfortunate but this is what fighting to the last Ukrainian policy looks like.
If the West really gave a damn about the Ukrainians, they would have made 3elensky go back to the negotiating table...
