My argument is solid. Our country has 3 to 4 times the homicide rate of comparable countries.
Do the comparisons by economic levels between the countries.
Do the comparisons by urban vs rural between the countries.
Do the comparisons by race between the countries.
You will find that the homicide rate is much higher in the US in each and every one of those comparisons.

Your argument is sounding like "we don't have a gun problem, we have a black problem". I would be careful it I were you.

It's not. If it were higher in all of those categories the white homicide rate would not be equal to those countries. But feel free to provide any of that data if you have it. I provided mine.

Be careful of what? Your own interpretation?

So if it's bad to be a victim of low level crime (theft) wouldn't that make it worse to be a victim of higher level crime (rape)?

Obscenities at a library? I can give you some books to look up? Restaurants or the mall (do malls still exist)? You don’t pay much attention to the music plying I guess? A ball game??? 😂 I already replied in another message how I agreed that Neyland is the purest bastion of Clean Speech That at I have ever visited 😉 But in serious discussion, there are rants at little league baseball games that would make a sailor blush. Except for a few evil eyes directed towards the culprit, I have never even seen these parents asked to leave; and definitely never arrested.
Trust me, the coarsening of American culture that the liberals began in the 60s has long ago done away with any meaningful guardrails on obscenity

You provided nothing. You took a selective (non-representative) group in the US and compared it to the total populations of other countries. That's sh!t on multiple levels.
Dig a little deeper. (externally and internally)

Sure. Unless the gun that is stolen involves a loss of an innocent life.

I mean at this point we're arguing which is worse rape or murder. Gonna need a new thread for that.

I used per capita numbers. How’s that a problem?

If there’s a gun problem in the US, why is it not reflected in the white homicide rate as compared to the “comparable” European countries you specifically mentioned?

Is it because the problem isn’t the guns? If the problem is the guns, the burden is on you to explain why the homicide rates are the same instead of elevated. Otherwise you have no correlation to point to

Instead of agreeing that it’s bad to be a victim of rape, you could try reevaluating your initial stance on being a victim of theft….just a thought

Nigeria has a murder rate of about 10 per 100,000. Congo is almost 14 per 100,000.

Give this a shot. Go to your local elementary school at dismissal tomorrow. Stand in the parking lot and yell obscenities' at the kids, teachers, and parents there to pick up their kids. Let me know how it goes.

Adults in Switzerland are required to have operational fully automatic assault rifles in their home. Strangely enough, I felt safer there than just about any place I have ever been
