Russia is the aggressor invading a sovereign nation. Ukraine is putting down terrorists in their own established country

Let me get this straight Hog, in prior postings you've indicated you don't think much of our military leadership for making sure that Trump didn't start a war with China, or Mexico if you read Esper's book, but you're hoping the Russian generals do exactly that? Interesting.

I hope so too. But I assume they run drills from top to bottom and if someone doesn't do their job they are replaced and probably jailed.

US. Didn’t. Invade. Ukraine. Russia and the US and others interfered with Ukrainian issues. But doesn’t change the fact that Ukrainian people decided to impeach and exile him and send his ass back to his buddy Putin and then elected someone else. And then Russia later invaded their sovereign country. The US didn’t. Russia did. If the US invaded and started killing innocent people in ukraine I’d say the same thing that they were wrong. The problem with you is that you won’t because you hate the west so much or because you love your Soviet comrades so much

What are you talking about. I said several countries interfered with the ukraine including Russia. But the Ukrainian people were the ones who chose to throw out their president with over 70% of the vote. It STILL doesn’t justify Russia’s invasion

To me interfering in elections abroad, as we do all the time (and very publicly) is just the shady side of "war". Hot wars are obvious and catch attention and result in immediate loss of life. Economic and political wars have long term consequences and destruction that is less obvious and require a longer attention span than the average American has to see the impact. I wish people would resist US meddling abroad like they do hot wars.
