Well the Russians are not even trying to hide this anymore. This whole invasion was nothing more than a blatant land grab if the invasion is successful. They are planning illegal votes in Donetsk and Luhansk areas to approve annexation in mid-May and are preparing for a similar vote in Kherson.

If it fits the terms of Article 5 and they request NATO aid then NATO is obligated to respond. I know you’re playing one of your stupid ass games again but the conditions and limits on Article 5 are clear and we are obligated to respond to a valid request.
