War in Ukraine

Ok yes I am sure there are some who did. Just like there are some idiots who believe Russia wants to liberate Ukrainians from nazis.
It has been proven that there are neo Nazis in Ukraine along with many hardcore ultranationalists who are followers of Stepan Bandera. These people hate Russians with a passion. Many of these ethnic Russians have lived in the Donbass region for hundreds of years. They shouldn't have been attacked in their homeland. Just like Ukrainans shouldn't be attacked in theirs.

Well first off, Putin wasn't running the show in 1994. It was the drunkard and inept Boris Yeltsin. The West and Wall Street were on a path to run Russia into the ground in the same way that they were abusing Ukraine until recently. Putin took over and had to clean up a lot of the mistakes Yeltsin made and get corrupt western influences out of the way.
So I assume you’re conceding the alleged verbal agreement made by the west to not expand NATO isn’t valid, either?

What about economic interference in Ukraine from Britain and the US? What about the US sanctions on Belarus?
What about them? You’re trying to claim that the UK and USA violated the sovereignty and independence of Belarus and Ukraine and/or exerted economic pressure. And you also playing Pootin whataboutism again.

Here’s the deal Moe. Bad is bad. You can plead your case here all you want claiming the West violated the Budapest Agreement. However that does not validate or justify your man crush absolutely shredding it and outright invading Ukraine. Womp womp.

I don’t support Ukraine’s government. I support the people of Ukraine against the douchebaggery of Russia, nothing more nothing less.
I believe the Ukraine government and and the majority of its citizens want to join the mostly free and civilized world. If that's the case I do support them.

I like you Ras, but damn. Why the hard on for Russia? Just asking here. Russia is on the losing end here. What would you like the end game to be here? Russia to occupy Ukraine? Russia to capture more and more territory? By your screen name I am assuming that you either admire Russia or have Russian heritage. Maybe this is the reason for your support?

Ukraine for their part is just as corrupt as Russia, so I have little admiration for them, but it is just picking the lesser evil here. Is Putin really the lesser evil here to you???? Why?

Nope. I'm saying that the deal that Dallas is bringing up was not a deal that Putin signed or agreed to. But in any event, it would appear that the West violated that agreement at least twice. Dallas says Russia violated it three times, but I need him to give examples of when they violated it.

Thought for the day: What if Putin really has gone insane and has built such a wall of security around him that no one will be able to get to him and stop him?

Irrelevant Moe.

RUSSIA

signed it. That signature is binding even on your man crush as he is President of the Russian federation. Russia is the only party to invade Ukraine.

And I can’t wait to see you extrapolate the US sanctions on Belarus for human rights violations against its people to Russia invading Ukraine three times now and seizing territory and killing Ukrainians.

Ready… go!

The end game should be for the US to remove themselves from this situation and allow Europe and Ukraine to sort this out with Russia. All we are doing is adding more fuel to the fire and making the situation worse by seeking an escalation of the problem as the realities on the field don't go in our favor. It started off with weapons dumps from NATO, and heavy sanctions that only hurt the West, then $33 billion, what next? Boots on the ground? Nuclear exchange?

We need to mind our own damn business and worry about protecting the sovereignty of our own damn borders and making sure we can save civil liberties here in America.

When did they violate it?

As opposed to the promise not to expand NATO, which nobody officially agreed to.
I would expect the paragons of freedom and honest brokering in the West to not stoop to backwater Russian tactics. I thought The West held themselves at a higher standard?
