I think he’s just been a bit off on location, especially leaving it up in the zone. I fully expect him to be back to his stellar self Friday.

In Chase Burns last two starts he has pitched 5.2 innings and given up 6 earned runs, for a ERA of 10.38.

Florida has some real power hitters in their lineup, and if the trend continues with Burns, Tennessee could be in trouble.

I heard Aaron’s comments last night and he certainly wasn’t holding back. That aside, I shrugged him off. I may be on an island here, but it doesn’t bother me. National media, fans, rival fans, coaches are all going to have their own strong opinions about Coach V and our guys - because of the swagger, the way we play, and our ranking. Not everyone is going approve and that’s okay with me.

I’m focused and care more about our team, coaches, and the actual games rather than other people’s opinions about them.

That’s good to know. 👍🏽 It’s notable that Sully and DVH reached out because I think Macias also inserted himself in their weekend series.

Also, Aaron seems like the only national baseball pundit who is really in that camp on this. Kendall definitely digs TV’s vibe, and Kyle Peterson too, and seems like everybody else in baseball podcast-istan generally embraces it too. Overall, positive reactions to the “$2 chest bumps” thing…
