Smokies Stadium is 330 and 320 down the lines and 400 to dead center. Combine that with the large amount of foul territory, and wooden bats, a wet field, and we're probably looking at a pitchers game tonite. And we have Blade and Joyce and Kirby, and they don't.
it is, but espn and espn2 have contracts with MLB, so does fox. SEC network is exclusive to our conference and can show whatever they want when it comes to SEC sports.
So, a discreet little phone call from the Braves to the MLB office and then to ESPN suggesting the Tennessee game be on the SECN+ tonite probably isn't likely, I guess. I guess.

You would think one school's spring game would be an ideal fit for the SECN+ platform, especially since football is out of season. #1 baseball team in the land would get national attention. Especially, as others have pointed out, the minor league park, wooden bats, etc flavor.
A team like we have that's so controversial and how we play can change that. I don't remember a team that has this much national attention and I'd be curious to see what the viewership is for our games opposed to these spring games/WBB tournament.More people across the SEC footprint would sadly care about the replay of a meaningless spring football scrimmage than a live baseball game.
I'm not happy about it, but it's sadly true.
I would rather die than attend or watch a spring game again. Even for my school
And the Braves are on at 7 on??

Edited to say: I just saw your reply above.
The only televised midweek game is the Florida / FSU game on ACC Network.
All others tonight are SECN+.

Sorry about the earlier post for this one. Was thinking about something else.
So, Fla and Fla St would be Rays fans, I'm guessing. The rays are playing tonight and so is florida and fl state, and the college game is on the real network, so my conspiracy theory is shot full of holes. another one bites the dust.
