War in Ukraine

Like I said, hopefully more of them see the light, surrender and live.

Your altruism and dedication to the welfare of the Ukrainian people is indeed a virtue that is inspiring to us all.

I can show you proof … Elon and Bezos built their own rocket and told the government you can either help or watch either way we don’t care . You don’t think they could have stinger missiles if they wanted them ?
You guy buy everything you need for a homemade stinger missile from Home Depot and Bass Pro Shop. Just kidding.

It's a proven strategy that has worked against the Russians before.

This aint the 80's with Russians scattered over the rugged Afghan terrain rooting out pockets of extremist fighters. Totally different scenario.

Correct, this isn't Afghanistan. They are now fighting people who look like them and speak the language so much tougher security wise.
And are adequately equipped...and handing them their asses. I cant wait to see what NATO and the rest of the world does in regards to beefing up Ukraine's military after this conflict is over.

Why do you keep talking up a sociopath?

The fact that the POTUS is incompetent doesn't chance the fact that Putin is an autocrat. I'm not a fan of Zelensky but what's happening to the Ukrainians is senseless.

I honestly haven't really kept up with the guy, but Zelenskyy strikes me more as a leader (at least the role model of a leader) than I've seen in the US or other countries in years.

Russia is well equipped to handle that scenario, although I dont see it as being a big of a problem as you do. Anti-Russian citizens will be driven west or killed. Those that remain will live among a pro-Russian majority who will be more than happy to turn them in.

It’s becoming more apparent these sanctions aren’t really doing that much. Other than increasing prices for the rest of us. These sanctions need to be lifted. They are causing harm to way too many other countries including ours. Biden has already said his sanctions will cause food shortages.

The thing that's hurting us most is the games our own government (and suppliers) and Saudi Arabia are playing with respect to oil. Both appear to be self inflicted by the idiot occupying the WH. When India and China buy discounted Russian oil, the remainder of the global market should be seeing a corresponding decrease in demand, and that should lead to reduced cost or at least a status quo from a point when Russian oil was in the mix. The first world countries should have dealt with OPEC and cartel manipulation years ago.

So you still believe the farce that there is a large pro-Russian citizenry in Ukraine?

Uh oh caught tail end on Neil Covuto. Investigating possible chemical attack somewhere.
From Fox News:
Ukrainian officials have accused Russian military forces of hitting a storage tank filled with nitric acid in the city of Rubizhne, located in the Luhansk region.

“We are aware of reports of this incident, and are looking into it as we await further details," the State Department told Fox News. "We are concerned about the harm to anyone in the vicinity that a nitric acid leak may cause. it is clear Russia’s forces continue to bombard cities and critical infrastructure across Ukraine and commit terrible acts of violence."

“Unclear as to the scope of the effects and unclear at this time if the strike was part of a strategy to weaponize the stored chemicals," a senior US defense official told Fox News. "But obviously this is cause for concern and we are monitoring.”

Additionally, a government expert tells Fox News that "if the tank held fuming nitric acid and the intent was to release the toxic nitrogen dioxide gas whose inhalation effects are similar to phosgene or chlorine, then it might be called a Chemical Weapons event."

Russians are too poorly trained and unintelligent to do this. It's an unfortunate accident.

Surrender and live under the Russian thumb or fight and give you and your children a shot at freedom.

All depends on your perspective. Hopefully they see and do what's next for them.

The difference between you and I is I'm not deciding what's best for somebody else. Whether you see it or not you are carrying water for and taking the part of Russia and it's interests while totally ignoring the interests of Ukraine.

I'm pretty sure if you start googling "how can I buy a stinger missle?", a non descript ACME Cable van will be sitting outside your house in a couple of days.

This is normal, right?

Lol, I’ve actually had surveillance vans around a military trailer that’s there/ not there show up on my phone.

It could be, since Russia was unable to choke off the capital and disrupt the supply lines to Kyiv they could always pivot to guerilla tactics to do exactly this.
