If I were Indians, I'd take that discounted oil and produce discounted refined oil products and let the world prove the crude came from Russia. If you take delivery from multiple sources, who knows what came from which batch of crude. Take Russian lemons and make your own lemonade.
Oh, I agree. we have far too many people in management that either "fell up" or simply have no experience at all in the field. The college for all idiocy is killing us; some professions require it, but a lot of what is taught in universities is drivel. Again you are right on generations and skills and incentive. One thing you didn't touch on that I do is corporate management - it sucks - at least to a lot of us. Older management grew up in the business before running it - now we pump out baby managers who think they know it all - and there's too many of them - and too many layers of management; I can't see them doing much more significant than something like Amazon which is really an updated Sears knockoff. We're service oriented today when we need to be industrial again.
Meh, outside of the AFL-CIO, I don't think unions are that big of a deal, at least from what I've seen. Obviously, you have abuses and productivity could be better in some instances, but there is far more fat that could be trimmed by having better focus and direction... which is a management issue. Wages haven't kept up with inflation over the last 40 years. Its real easy for us to pick on the workers. One other killer is our cost of labor and supposedly our standard of living. It's all inflationary, and we've priced ourselves out of business. There's no way that the incessant union demands for more pay and benefits with no matching productivity gains could ever bee seen as anything but inflationary - mob rule style, and politicians supported unions because it got them income and reelections. We need to be oriented more toward keeping people working than keeping them supplied with cheap toys/electronics and other distractions.
Was harsh criticism of the people of Ukraine or of Zelensky and the Kiev regime? That Kiev regime hasn't done the people of Ukraine any favors.some interesting points but has too much "Ukraine was asking for it" vibe for my tastes
I think the point about keeping foreign influence out of the house could be made without ragging on Ukrainian actions

Is Putin going around the world speaking to state assemblies trying to rally his cause? Or in this particular case, speaking in front of the Dutch?Nor has many a government yet those other governments aren't being attacked nor are their citizens targets.
It's two different points - 1) keeping foreign influence out of the Dutch house, 2) providing a litany of Zelensky admin sins. I notice there was no list of Putin admin sins which in this particular case are considerably more substantial.
Point 1 could be made without justifying it with Point 2
Ivandjiiski strikes againThe timing of this is interesting...
