Finishing #3 in conference out of 14 teams is "mid-tier?" Are you trying your best to win the stupidest, most ill-informed post contest?

I mean, you have lots of competition here, but still....

I am talking about the future dumb dumb... But let's look at the current team in the last weeks;

Kentucky - Blowout loss
LSU - Loss
USCe - Blowout loss
Florida - Blowout loss
Auburn - Blowout loss

That's 5 SEC teams which beat the Lady Vols, Yes I would say mid-tier SEC team currently!!

Darby is a streak shooter, which makes her a streak misser. Justine Pissott doesn't have that tendency. She is a consistent threat and rarely has extended slumps. And her range is unbelievable. I applaud Coach K for what she has gotten out of Darby. She had confidence in Tess when pretty much everybody had written Tess off...Kellie and staff made a then "non-factor" into a "legitimate threat". Helluva job coaching !

Dye is an enigma that this staff had one season to figure out, smooth as silk, able to be explosive, yet able to disappear for a game or a stretch.

This is a very diverse set of athletes and Coach K has done a good job. by my unscientific consideration on this team are 2 alpha, 2 Beta's and 9 Alpha/Beta's.

She had a tough year 2, but rebounded with a very good year 3
year 1 went 21-10 and no NCAA tourney
Year 2 went 17-8 NCAA 2nd round
Year 3 22-7 and still games to be played

tess has been open lots of time no pass. begining of tenn vs key tess ran hard beat her by 1/4 court no pass.. like andy landers said they played team ball vs alabama best tenn share basketball on season. tess was a four star propects nation. read tess darby played the long game and won. tess was rated top 60 high school softmore.

SHe averages 5.4 a game and has 5 out of 29 games of over 10 pts
Sorry, but I need more from my primary long-range threat/starter

She has been better in the second half of the season. Still has to improve all aspects of her game other than three point shooting if she expects as much playing time next season. Justine looks to be the player that will eat a lot of her minutes if she can't get better at everything else on the court. Justine will have a learning curb, but one thing for sure she can shoot the three with the best of them.

I know she's gotten better but Mud has been on a soapbox about her and until I see consistency,,,I am calling it like I see it

tess will have mordluck when kellie first all american gets here. never say tess should be 1st three point shoter on the team. but lots of time other players never tried to get tess open looks.. tenn needs three 3 point shooter at lease.

If Justine is all she is cracked up to be no way Tess doesn't lose minutes next season. Her key job is three point shooting and Justine brings that and much better rebounding and passing. Of course Tess will play nice to be able to put her, Justine, and others out there when you need to make a three.

she was 45 of 115 for 3s and 9 of 26 shooting 2's
9 games of zero pts
I have to have much more from my SG

Been the entire problem after the injuries we could let these players be spot contributors when you have a Jordan Horston and a sixth woman like Green. When players like that go down you lose a lot of points because those positions aren't able to produce more. We did get more from Dye and sometimes Burrell, but they were already making good contributions and those two alone can't close the gap on what is missing with those injuries. That doesn't even speak of the difference they made on defense. Tess will have to improve dramatically JMO to keep the minutes she got this season. Three other players thus far will be joining and all three are going to play quite a bit.

tess would never started as much if rae not got hurt. . rae was our best player before injury hands down. tess has not earn starting spot next year.
but team still needs to play more like alabama game i agree with andy landers best team game of the year.

tess defence she got sit down. for blow bys tess improve there. next teams set picks tess fix that she fights picks better. now. now tess sits more when she has trouble geting her own shot off. tess has work to do but she no three only player.

I would just Tess to work hard on her game this summer. She will still be a big factor for our team, but we have a lot of new players and injured players coming back so she will have to be better to get the playing time she got this season.

I agree need to get more from the SG but not sure if it`s fair to label Tesss as a SG. The reason is Tess is always guarding the wing player on the other team, I remember me saying the jury is still out on Tess. But she has got my attention as a dangerous shooter, Now if anyone is looking for Tess to be the player with athletic ability, Break you down off the dribble, Create her own shot. That`s not gonna happen because that not her game or in her ability. KJH just needs her to knock down 3`s. We can agree to disagree.
