Pat definitely sang Rocky Top better, and when lil Kim does it from the top of a cheerleader pyramid let me know.

I don't see it as offensive however, look at the reaction of the player sitting beside Kim when she starts talking about her record (note: HER record, not her current team's record) at TBA. The player drew back in surprise and said something to the effect of "thanks for the extra pressure". I thought that was hilarious.

I don't see how someone singing another's university's fight song is insulting. It seemed to me she was just acknowledging the fact that when you play in TBA you better get used to hearing it -- a lot! lol

If I know Mulkey like I think I do, I would guess she is genuinely excited to be able to coach on the court that bears Pat Summitt's name come Sunday. She genuinely loved Pat.

Kim is one of a kind who loved and admired Pat . She’s deeply rooted in women’s hoops as someone mentioned above , and has an intense passion for the game and her players. I’d have loved to have her here coaching us when Pat left . She’s for sure not insulting the Lady Vols in this video. The game Sunday will be super intense . We better bring our A game.

When I heard a Georgia QB sing Rocky Top after they had just beat us, I thought he was an ass. When we give the chomp to gators, bet they don’t like it. To hear the opposing coach of any team sing it, is ridicule, and she meant it to be. She has laid down the gauntlet, we need to pick it up.

This is a big game!

GO LADY VOLS!!! AND PLAY ROCKY TOP ALL NIGHT LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One thing I have learned this about season's group...when they play with emotion,, they're tougher than when playing without emotion,,,so Coach Munkey,,,sing on!

I hope the band plays it on every made basket, including foulshots and LSU scores

Thank you Coach J for showing us Chrystal Gayle’s “Rocky Top”. She did a great rendition and really fired me up.

I have high expectations for TN winning! I believe Tamari is going to have another big game, block party and all! If we can get Afuwa in foul trouble early, they have no one to stop Tamari!

Alexis Morris has been scoring 20-25 points for them and they’ll be without her tomorrow. If we play defense like we have the last 2 games and space the floor like we did in the MSST game, I think we win

Their best player as far as scoring efficiently. Most of the other put up 20 shots to score twenty points that is always a huge factor. She is definitely a player they will miss.

on the other hand,,,Pointer and Cherry will know that guards often have career days against us....this game WILL come down to guard play

Back in the 90’s some of the students in the FSU Band were from Tennessee and they heard from friends in the Tennessee Band that Steve Spurrier hated Rocky Top being played at Tennessee/Florida games. So they borrowed it and played Rocky Top, non stop every time they played they played the Gators in Tallahassee or Gainesville. The students in Tallahassee would sing it to the top of their lungs. Rumor had it, Coach Spurrier’s two most hated teams became a little more hated. Hopefully, Coach Mulkey will hear in non stop on Sunday until she’s not happy about it at all.

I think tomorrow will be challenging but anyone who has followed LSU knows that team is only as good as Pointer and Morris take them. I loved Fargas but she a really bad job recruiting in general and they don't have the overall talent Tennessee does. The rest are just role players at best. They are now without Morris, and it showed how bad they were offensively when they faced Alabama. There is a pretty significant drop off. Aifuwa cannot handle Key so I expect a big game from Key.

Why isn't Burrell coming back?
