War in Ukraine

Talk about black and white - the economy was not in tatters. the recovery was well underway as evidenced by the rebound in GDP. Same for employment. The stock market had already recovered and was continuing to climb.

Are you serious? The supply chain, shipping, raw material and the printed money that lead to inflation all started on Joes inauguration day?

I didn't blame trump for those things, that was Covid - but to suggest it didn't and doesn't continue to heavily impact the economy is non sensical.

At least one didn't knowingly irreparably destroy his own electability because he couldn't control himself from tweeting like a 12 year old girl. What kind of person does that?
Come on man! Had you had the same energy for Biden and his racist history years ago like you do tweets we may not be in this mess. That’s malarkey

Such a semantical word game and you hear only what you want to fit your ideological narrative

See bolded - I did not claim any of those things.

I disagree with your assessment that those things = an economy in tatters. By most measures the economy was and is in good shape at the time of Biden's taking over. Somethings have improved and others have gotten worse. Some were the product of policy, some were the product of longer term causes.

I know Team Biden likes to claim the economy was in tatters when they took over but that is no where near an objective assessment of the situation.

Joe shutting down fuel options, forcing people to lose their jobs if they didn’t get vaccinated, and encouraging shut downs due to the virus surge is what messed up the economy.

You could also point out that the bulk of the supply chain issues has been caused by the lockdowns that have been pushed by the leftist. I’m not saying that Republicans didn’t partake, but again the Democrats took it to a whole new level

Then you didn't pay attention to the rest of my post, I can't imagine being so myopic as to believe that any of the administrations operate in vacuums. Was the economy moving forward when Trump was beaten?

Yes.

In the same way a car that's out of gas rolls to the bottom of a hill.

Don’t disagree but wouldn’t the out of control deficit spending from the last admin be driving the inflation we are seeing, at least in part. The market was booming under Trump and GDP was rising, but seems to me that it came at a cost.

Not an economist or expert by any means, but seems logical.

demonstrating your inability to separate objective analysis from your Trump hate or desire to own Trumpers.

That's more an indictment on the Biden voters that they valued tweets over results and policy. Weird flex
I hate to break it to you, but tweets were the last of Biden voters concerns. Not really sure where this revisionist history started where the only thing Biden voters didn’t like about Trump was social media or character flaws. Those were the last of our problems with him, just the easiest to make fun of.

Would substituting the word "explanation" for "justification" satisfy you?

Here goes ....

Vladimir Putin explained his reasoning for this latest Russian attack against the Ukraine, and Donald Trump described Vladimir Putin's explanation as being "genius."

Better? LOL.

Absoutely - I never mentioned any particular party or POTUS was to blame - just pointing out that characterizing the economy as being in tatters is a "black and white" view that misses the objective reality
