War in Ukraine

Trump very literally was the republican party's first choice. You can tell by the way he won the primary.

Many of you still believe he's a great leader. He's not, he's a carnival barker that fell forward.
And yet… during his leadership the economy was soaring, we had our own fuel pipeline, and nothing like this happened. Yeah, take your Trump criticisms elsewhere. You want to criticize, then criticize the incompetent dementia patient currently in the White House who is destroying this country and allowing disaster around the world

Russia threatening Finland and Sweden if they join NATO.
Half the Finnish households dust off their Mosin Nagants and put on their Bane respirators when addressing Russia. "You only adopted the Winter. I was born in jt, molded by it, I never new the summer until I was a man".

I have always wondered about the S Tanks as well. If they hold up at all.

He’s great relatively speaking but that’s a huge distinction from actually being great. And yes the Republican Party is pretty lamentable and has been for a while. The problem is modern Democrats are unfortunately indisputably worse.

Just read a story about Russian soldiers driving a family out of their homes and putting guns to the heads of their children.

Don’t ever want to see any of you idiots arguing against the 2A again.

Well, as long as you read a story. It must be true.

I'm still laughing about you following Jack Posobeic. Yikes.

The Russian military effectiveness (thus far) has been underwhelming to me. These dudes ain’t 10’ tall. We would stomp a mud hole in their asses, our dementia patient President aside.

The issue is that the Russians have a lot more ground forces than the USA. The average USA ground force would beat a Russian ground force of equal size but they would get us with the numbers (same as China).

It kind of reminds me of the British in the past. For example, in WW2, the British units were pretty strong against German/Italian units but they just didn't have the manpower or equipment to fight Germany on land without help.

We are primarily an air and naval power. Getting into a ground war in Asia or Russia would not go well for us unless we have a lot of other ground forces to help us.

Also keep in mind aggressors always have it harder than defenders in war. We have struggled against Guerilla Warfare in past wars as well (even wars were we had a significant support from the civilian population such as Iraq).

Maybe but Ukraine does have an advantage of fighting on the defensive. If we had the same advantage then sure I agree. Problem is if we fight Russia the risk of Nuclear War is too high, we can’t allow it to go there
I agree we can’t let it go there , but if the Russians move on Poland or Romania we’re going to be in a shooting war with the Russians. I don’t know why Putin would risk the life he leads for that.

The guy in there now doesn't have the intellect of a 12y/o girl. Think toddler. 🤣

$4.00 gas
Hyper inflation
Supply chain cluster fudge
War in Europe
Illegals pouring unchecked over the border
Stock market crash
On and on.

I'll take the mean tweets all day.
Why are you communist so emotionally weak?
And to think Trump is so weak that he knowingly threw away his chance at a second term and his ability to help the country avoid all of those things because he couldn't resist tweeting like a spoiled and insecure little girl.

Sad

After 1940 Hitler was no longer an asset for Germany.

Germany took on too many people, that was their problem. By 1941-1942, they were fighting multiple fronts. Most of their air force was trying to stop raids on Germany, they had significant troops in the Mediterranean, in occupation zones (such as 300k troops in Norway alone), and were still trying to fight a very vast supply line in Russia.

In the end, Germany just did not have a strong ally and fought too many people. Italy was very underwhelming as an Ally and the other Axis members (Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, and Finland) were too small and had limited scope involvement (for example Finland only agreed to take and fight over the lands the USSR had annexed from them in the Winter War and would not go fight the USSR anywhere else).

I don’t have Twitter so don’t follow anyone. But yeah man, attack the source! Because no way that video and news reports of them arming civilians are real. Yikes

I agree about Poland. They are one of the few European countries worth saving. Personally I’d fight for Poland they are worth it

The mud hole in their ass we would stomp would be because our vastly superior air and naval power, as you mentioned. I’m not alluding to urban warfare on the streets of Moscow. We would lay Mother Russia to heaps of ash from high above.
