War in Ukraine

You can admit they were both failures. In fact it's the rational conclusion

But hey, keep acting like I've ever said Biden was doing well.
Trump was only in office what, 6 or 7 months after Covid hit? How much did he know about Covid? The biggest mistake he made was listening to Fauci. He knows that now. If it wasn’t for Covid, the economy would still be cruising, and we’d still have the pipeline and would not see gas prices soaring

Well, Eric Swalwell is a full on idiot, and this is coming from a liberal. I wish everyone would have at least waited a day or two before we jump on our respective sides and use Ukraine as a political hammer on each other, but that is probably too much to ask these days.

Fixed your post.

Unfortunately world leadership is about as vapid as Neville Chamberlain and the United Nations as useless as the League of Nations. Our leadership in this country is inexplicably determined to weaken our economic position when we should be working to strengthen it. Our two biggest rivals are nationalists who are intent on strengthening their countries.

Trump's head was spinning from his love affair with Putin. He was already well on his way to dismantling NATO. Why would Putin take Ukraine by force when Trump would have let him have it for free if he had been reelected.

My memory is fuzzy tell me again what Obama and Joe said to Putin about

Cool story but it happened in his 4 years did it ? My memory is a little fuzzy remind me what Obama and Joe told Putin after Crimea and about having more flexibility after the election . We seem to be having a hard time distinguishing between what is real facts and what is feelings .

A year based on the first post in the covid thread. Likely longer given that he has info others don't. He also printed up trillions, handed out to his buddies and then promised even more would come if you would just vote for him again

The economy was going to be in trouble. He was smart enough to let it go but so did Clinton and look what happened there. Biden's a failure and so was Trump

How so? Did Tucker run on Russian Collusion or the fact it was fabricated to distract. You know the answer.
I was agreeing with you, just adding that it happens on Fox News as well (just not about Russian collusion). That is what happens when you have nightly opinion shows on the three major networks instead of boring ol' news reporting.

Agreed, and the R’s certainly have theirs as well. It’s one thing for all of us to discuss, throw jabs and barbs at each other on this forum. It’s kinda what we do, what we get up for every day. Our elected officials need to be a little more measured during times like this, be it Swalwell, MTG, etc. Many need to be sent packing. Hopefully their districts get it right next cycle.

Fact and lies are not the same. When what you say is provable it can't be used in a strawman argument because you don't like it.

Btw, I agreed and disagreed with Carlson's position on Russia. You're just salty because of Tulsi.
There are plenty of lies flying around all three major cable news networks, let's not act like any one of them are "news" after 5pm. They are entertainment meant to push an agenda.

How quickly people forget Trump was the first one to just make up trillions of dollars of money

Don’t disagree on that but I tend to agree more with facts over opinions. Easier to walk out and see the world live in real time than selective editing and opinions over facts.

Would you rather be a fan of UT or would you rather be a fan of Vandy? They both aren't great. Maybe you should sit out being a fan of both since both are fflawed. Alabama is great. You can wait until they are near and dear to your heart.

A guy on the radio just made the point that Russian $$$ didn't believe Putin was going to do this. Their market certainly hadn't priced it in.

yeah, right. He's been sucking putin's tailpipe and putin loves it
He has consistently worked counter to Putin's interests. The whole narrative that Trump was Putin's boy just isn't grounded in reality. It's as laughable as Trump's claims the election was stolen.
