War in Ukraine

This is what you get Larry!!! Love that movie. Goodman should’ve won a Oscar for his role as Walter.

the movie was a natural, zesty enterprise

oscars all around - at least for Walter, Donnie and El Duderino and his special lady, I mean his f'n lady friend. Instead they gave it some goldbrickers.

No way did he legit get 81 million votes

Of course he didn't but who really cares about the 5 million more votes he got in California. They think the popular vote matters. Shows you how uneducated more of the electorate has gotten. Many only started to understand it in 2016 and some had voted for POTUS before.

Putin: “We have decided to launch a special military action […] aimed at demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine.” I do not speak Russian, and cannot ensure that his statement is 100% accurate but this translation is coming from very reputable sources.
UPDATE: Putin announces formal start of Russia’s invasion in eastern Ukraine — Meduza
UPDATE 2: Explosions reported in Kyiv and Kharkiv, reports of GRAD MLRS strikes in Mariupol and in southern Crimea. UNSC still in its meeting.
UPDATE 3: UNCONFIRMED reports of landing ships landing in and around Mariupol. Will post if I can confirm this. Jets reported flying south from Belgorod possibly towards Kharkiv. Reports of gunfire at Boryspil Airport in Kyiv.

Ukraine accusing Belarusian troops of being involved in attacks on the Belarus/Ukraine border alongside Russian troops.

Are all of you ready to fight? This won't stop with Ukraine or even Russia, this is a breakdown of he bubble of 80 years of peace. This is 1930s calling once again.

Whether you want to or not, this is coming for all of us. Get ready.

If this is true...There's all most folk's predictions just an an operation limited to Donetsk and Luhansk proved wrong.

Admittedly I'm spitballing here but I wonder if the hesitancy to use SWIFT is the potential for China/Russia and whoever they can pull along to create an alternative and fracture the global monetary system. The dollar still rules but perhaps this could be the catalyst needed to change that?

In the bigger picture it's a question of how much global economic damage are you willing to inflict to halt Russian aggression against Ukraine. No easy answer.
