War in Ukraine

Of all the egomaniacs, myself included, on the PF, "Grand" Vol takes the cake. Must be bliss to just live in a world untethered from reality. Got to be freeing actually. Jealous.

Don't be mad that I can actually learn to draw my own conclusions based on the whole picture rather than the limited metrics you use.

Uh huh...

So, why is Biden using government measures to hamper domestic production because of "social costs" all while looking around the globe for additional supplies.

Wouldn't the better plan be to take the shackles off domestic exploration and production and promote US reserves as a safe alternative?

You ask "why Biden is looking around the globe for additional (oil???) supplies?".

Seriously? Jebus on a hot buttered bun, man.

First, provide a link that shows BIDEN is out snooping for oil. Wrong. The oil industry is, not our President.

Second, the oil industry has ALWAYS searched the globe for additional oil. It's how things work. Simple supply and demand economics. Also, you do understand that retrieving oil from offshore locations like the Atlantic and Arctic Oceans is significantly more expensive than oil derived from fracking here in the heart of the USA, right?

Lastly, NO, "taking the shackles off" our oil industry here makes no sense whatsoever. NIMBY. The next time 50,000 gallons of oil wash ashore, we'll just dump it on your front yard, shall we. Plus, we got plenty of oil and are basically oil independent. Plus, why SHOULDN'T we be promoting and seeking alternative energy, hmmm?

Next time you come to the Outer Banks, be sure to check in advance if the house you rented is still standing.

Ocean level rise is real, and I see it first hand everyday.

There is beach erosion that occurs every time a large storm passes through. The real problem is that some home builders either build too close to the water, or they do a lousy job of digging down for the footers. Lots of YouTube videos exist showing the differences between bad and good house building on beaches.

That is ocean rise bro

stop posting trumpet links tied to russian propaganda. nobody reads them, and nobody cares. a democracy is majority rules. that is what a democracy is. it is a way of establishing order in a society. if you do not wish to live in that society what you do is called anarchy and chaos. you spread hate, lies, chaos, fear, and do it for reasons that are at it's basic core anti American. nobody is paying any attention, go back to your cult church where you can echo chamber yourselves into oblivion. we have this thing called a national gas reserve that is quite large. gas is $3.10. woopity ****ing doo. get over yourselves and go back where you belong.

peace be with you burhead. we will be here when you have need.

Whoa hold up there swamp boy , you preach about not posting trump articles because it just spreads hate , lies , fear and chaos but seem to be fine as long as it’s the left doing it . We are coming out of 2 years that have been filled with hate , lies, chaos and fear mongering. But but but Trump ! I also don’t know where you are getting $3.10 fuel from because it’s not around where we live . $3.39 and still climbing here .

on the other side relying on computers and electric everything is not going to save you. the experiment is already in motion. it's going to play out no matter what you do. massive storms, massive erosion, and eventual massive cooling. The earth is headed for another ice age so enjoy your warmth while you have it.

Yea I am sure to your eye that you can see mm of ocean rise
Such a hyperbolic pic

It's real.

Come on down here, bro, and I'll show you the multi-million dollar sand renourishment programs that all of our beaches have had to adopt to simply maintain the status quo. First one was in 2012 in Nags Head. Now all the beaches are recognizing that this is the only way we'll keep our roads and homes from washing away.

On wind-ravaged Outer Banks, beach nourishment projects moving forward

Are you seriously suggesting that we don't have beach erosion issues here in the Outer Banks?

they pretty much had to because of the judges ruling

We need to invest in legit alternatives. We shouldn't be beholden to fossil fuels and their money

The judge rejected the Administration's reason for blocking exploration to begin with, not the drilling itself.

And yes, we should be looking at alternatives. Nuclear and hydro for certain.

I’m pretty sure I just said it is caused by storms?

Here's a good National Geographic read. Free if you give them an email address.

Rising Seas: Will the Outer Banks Survive?

Under the combined effects of storms, development, and sea-level rise, portions of this narrow, 200-mile island chain are collapsing, says Stanley Riggs, a coastal geologist at East Carolina University in Greenville.

"We're losing them right now," he says. "In the next ten years, it's going to be awful."

Riggs has been studying the state's coastline since 1967, when he got a job at East Carolina University to start a coastal and marine science program in an unused building on Roanoke Island. In 2010, he was a member of a science panel that produced a controversial report warning that North Carolina could face 39 inches (1 meter) of sea-level rise by 2100, as glaciers melt and ocean waters warm and expand.

"Sea-level rise and storms are taking out eastern North Carolina today—not a hundred years from now. They're doing it today," he says.

As much as I hate those on the far right covering for Putin, I harbor a similar amount of contempt for the useful idiots on the far left who have been trying to convince people Russian aggression over the last 15 years is somehow the west's fault.

Health of our planet lol

If these people weren't absolute hypocrites they would be clamoring for more NG production, expanded distribution and converting gas/diesel/heating oil uses to NG. But alas they are hypocrites and DGAS about the planet, they only care about keeping their team in power.

It's literally in a link I already provided...

So here's your post. Show me the link you included that purportedly discredits ANYTHING I've stated.
