It ties into what kiddiedoc posted. I think they want to use the decreased COVID hospitalization numbers as a result of this differentiation to claim a victory and justify returning everything to normal because the midterms are coming up.

I hope everyone goes hard after the locals that got the mandates enforced on our children. We learned quickly over a year ago that the masks don’t do ship and found out quickly what the real science is.
 

One of the few things DJT did correctly was letting the state governors decide the lockdown status of their state. He was blasted for it everywhere. A few weeks ago Joe (either directly or through his spokespeople) said covid is a state issue. Crickets.
Psakistan is right, most happened during DJT's watch. But very few, if any, were mandated by DJT.

It's govt that has gone off the rails. This is an example but there are more each day from all sides. The need to abandon this ridiculous, overreaching govt should be obvious at this point but instead most reps will get sent back to DC. We still have people clamoring for Biden/Trump 2. We're broken

That may be true, but all I know is that there was some study done in Africa where they found that people that ate plants or meat from soils that were high in selenium either were more resistant to ebola, HIV or some other severe ailment. I can't find the study, but I remember hearing about it last summer.
