Update on Susan: (Sorry for super long post) Susan went into the Hospital Friday due to, what she thought was a stroke, they admitted her immmediately and have been running tests since Friday. Now they are talking Hodgkins lymphoma. It has spread all over her chest, shoulders and neck and they want to do a Biopsy tomorrow morning first thing to find out exactly what they are dealing with. Once the Biopsy is done, they want to start Chemotherapy. THANK you so much to everyone that has reached out, messaged, called and said they are praying for Susan. She is in room 1221 at UT. Susan is one of the strongest people I know and she is also stubborn like her Grandfather and I know she is going to fight this as we stand beside her every step of the way. Love and appreciate all of you more than words can say! Susan Boofer I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART! I already told the Lord, take it from Susan and give it to me! If I could take it from you, I'd do it in a heartbeat. I love you! SO MANY people love you! Stay strong and we will be with you all the way.

Yep - our daughter got a tough case of the Omicron three weeks ago. Immune system crashed. She diagnosed with strep today along with one of our grandsons.

I've been to Auschwitz outside Krakow. A feeling one never forgets.

My mom told me she worked part time during summers to pay for college. That’s unfathomable now that attendance costs have skyrocketed.

I guess all that tech and equipment that universities provide now that they never had to decades ago drives some of that. A lot of it is overpriced professors though. I wonder what the wifi bill alone is monthly at UTK.

I have an infected in-grown toenail on the big toe I broke a few months back. Been hurting like a MFer. Just drained some pus from it so hopefully that helps. Need to find a good podiatrist.

Hit your other big toe with a hammer. That will take your mind off the infected one.
