Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

So you didn’t know who he was, only recognized him and seen certain posters “defending” him. That was enough for you to insinuate that he’s a snake oil salesman and just assume he’s right wing. So in other words you spoke on a subject completely uninformed, just 100% out of your a**, then quickly contradicted what you’ve shown through your posts here by saying “one issue doesn’t determine if someone is a snake oil salesman” .
And you want to bring up logic? 😂
Keep ranting about things based off “assumptions” Luther, it’s a good look for a clown like you
I wasn't uninformed, my experiences in the PF have led me to rightfully conclude that any news source supported and defended by certain posters will most assuredly be a rightwing source. My assumption that Rogan was rightwing (which after a little more research on my own, I believe him to be a centrist), was very well informed - even though I had no clue who he was.
If a coach scouts an opposing team and finds that they had 32 third and five situations during the season and that every single time they ran a play action right and passed to #11, it would be a very informed assumption that they would run that against his team when the same situation arose.

The whole Maher part is entirely irrelevant.

Watching the whole joe rogan conversation between you and others has been hilarious.
You claim you don’t know who he is, and yet you insinuate that he’s a “snake oil salesman”. Seems stupid to insinuate that about someone you know nothing of by your own admission. But we all know you’re saying that because of the whole Covid deal, which is funny because when bill Maher the liberal is brought up your stance changes to “one issue doesn’t determine if someone is a snake oil salesman”. Thanks for the laughs
This guy would have you locked up in a re-education camp if he had the ability to do so. He’s the one the kept saying he never saw proof of antifa acting violently and attacking people even after the countless videos showing their actions were posted here for him to view.

If you self medicate with anything in the hospital outside what drs and nurses are giving you, you could have an adverse reaction that makes things worse or kills you
Please explain to me what would be worse than a man dying already? So let me get this straight... you're argument is that you don't give a dying person experimental meds or unapproved meds because they might die?

And you can make sense of this? Or, are you just hell ent on following some arbitrary rule or law that says you can't do it?

I really shouldn't be surprised any longer at how consistently wrong you guys can be, but I am. I sort of feel like Buddy the Elf winding up the Jack-n-a-Boxes.

Do you believe if a patient thinks handling rattlesnakes or shooting heroin or doing peyote would cure them, the hospital should allow them to?

I think they should be able to do what they want.

However I'm also pragmatic enough to see the situation our lawsuit-loving, insurance pumping society has put hospitals in.

There need to be many changes.

The hospital can provide recommendations and outline risks, but nobody should have to “allow” them to do anything. People can do whatever the hell they want as long as they aren’t affecting anybody else and Darwin can take it from there. JMO.

Not on a hospitals private property. You can do what the hospital’s and doctor’s patient care plans are or you can leave and go elsewhere.

Is UT Hospital really private property? Last I knew, it belonged to the state, which belongs to the people of the state.

Falls under the “not affect anyone else” qualifier I stated. But yes, agreed, private property is governed by the rules of those who own it.

I'm glad you were so specific, so which entity own UT hospital? Is it owned by a corporation or private individual or some baloney named entity that the state created to keep from being sued?
I’m sorry I thought i made it clear. UHS,inc is a private not for profit corporation

Well good luck getting a doctor to treat you, knowing you are just going to self treat.

The problem isnt that they went and found some medicine their doctor wouldnt give them. The issue is that they didnt let the doctor know.

If rattlesnake juice is going to cure you and the doctor wont prescribe it, check yourself out, take the juice and there is no problem. Either you trust the doctor or you dont. Either you want their help, or dont.

At best you are giving the doctors bad data, oh this treatment finally started working, I will do it for similar patients. At worst you fix your immediate need and get another treatment that reacts with your snake juice, and you have another medical emergency on your hands.

Check yourself out. Dont expect a doctor to help if you take matters into your own hands.
