Let’s go! I’ve got 2 work trips planned over the next month and my wife can only make one so she chose our Jackson Hole trip. I’m going to an all-inclusive, couples resort in Mexico by myselfIf you need seat fillers I'm available, I identify as vaccinated and I ain't skeered.
I can see that. But the issue is that there seems to be no agreement on "the information we have NOW".I don’t think people are ignoring the context of prevailing opinions at the time, they’re just realizing that the information we have NOW has shown many of those opinions to be incorrect and are rightfully questioning why we are continuing down a path that is proving to exacerbate the problem.
Yeah except we arent out of it, and we arent calling on Biden for not doing more.Just a few comments from the first couple of pages of this thread.
You need to remember the level of "unknown" that surrounded all of this.
Thankfully, the worst case scenarios never materialized, but had they, I don't believe anyone would be moaning about overreaction but you would be bitching about not doing enough.
Go back and read what you were saying early......

So scientific opinion can change based on new facts but not peoples opinion? Interesting take. I was dead wrong early on during this pandemic. Have admitted as much many times. The biggest take away I have had is how much I under estimated governments ability to screw things up.
Sure, but that doesn't make him a "conservative", necessarily. The Western left is pants on head idiotic and ought to be endlessly called out by anyone with functioning brain cells.Have you heard Russell Brand lately? He's changed his tune a lot. He's always pointing out the ridiculousness and hypocrisy of the media that the left.
Great things have been happening in my life purely because many other people have been so afraid! I think that's a win.Just talked to a vendor of mine who told me he got his 4th shot 3 days ago. I told him I didn’t even know the US had approved a 4th shot. He pulled out of their customer trip to Mexico in a few weeks, despite having 4 shots! I told him at this rate I’ll be at the resort by myself the way everyone is pulling out.
I believe most people were comfortable with two weeks to a month of slowing down and understanding what was going on. Nobody is truly against being wise about illness.Same here. The first month or so (March 2020), my partner quit suddenly, I was scared of bringing something home and it killing my wife or kids, and I had terrible anxiety walking into sick patients' rooms. However, it became very quickly apparent that serious illness in children was exceedingly uncommon, that the upheaval in life/school/etc was much more dangerous for them, and that healthy, relatively young adults had a very low probability of a poor outcome.
By witnessing the "waves" head on, following the actual research (not watching the "news"), and looking at data, it also became very obvious that masks weren't doing squat, mandates are not warranted, early/inexpensive treatments can be quite effective, and now that "vaccination" is not the final solution.
lol........Did you notice how all of the sources were rightwing / conservative sources? The misinformation that was used against us then is still going on two years later. Those you copy and pasted know it's BS now. The ones still living in fear is the ones you should be poking fun at. A mirror around?
Yep, a kids teacher is a 100 times more dangerous than covid. What does luther do for a living again?Same here. That was mostly conservatives posting conservative links. You think we would pull liberal links? Would you like me to go pull links from say, February 2020 to July 2020 only from the left? Just like us, all news had to go by what lord Fauci was saying.lol........Did you notice how all of the sources were rightwing / conservative sources?
If those sources were intentionally using misinformation against you then, why would you think they would be different now?
Pretty sure 4th shots are only available to immunocompromised people. If that's the case then Mexico might not be the place for you to start with.Just talked to a vendor of mine who told me he got his 4th shot 3 days ago. I know. That's why it was a silly point. It was the best information at the time - pre-Fauci.That was mostly conservatives posting conservative links. You think we would pull liberal links? Would you like me to go pull links from say, February 2020 to July 2020 only from the left? Just like us, all news had to go by what lord Fauci was saying.
One issue doesn't determine if anyone is a snake oil salesman.
A real galaxy brain we've got on our hands.Watching the whole joe rogan conversation between you and others has been hilarious.
You claim you don’t know who he is, and yet you insinuate that he’s a “snake oil salesman”. Seems stupid to insinuate that about someone you know nothing of by your own admission. But we all know you’re saying that because of the whole Covid deal, which is funny because when bill Maher the liberal is brought up your stance changes to “one issue doesn’t determine if someone is a snake oil salesman”. Thanks for the laughs

I'm glad you can find some humor, I hope you found it as funny as I find your post.Watching the whole joe rogan conversation between you and others has been hilarious.

I didn't know who he was (but once I googled him, I admitted that I had seen him years ago on Fear Factor).
I made the logical assumption that he was right wing, not based on his COVID positions which I know absolutely nothing about, but based on the posters in the PF who were defending him.
By the way, I also know nothing about Bill Maher's positions on COVID, nor do I really care. Why would anyone care about either Rogan's or Maher's positions? The scary thing is the number of people who do evidently care what their positions are.
To recap, your post contained no logic but plenty of humor.
