It was. But the majority of journalist ask stupid questions.

I think the sports media could be the worst. The questions usually start “How important is” and then end with something that’s always important in the game regardless of the circumstances.

How important is it to protect the football this week?

How important is it to score in the red zone this week?

How important is it to limit penalties this week?


It’s just lazy. I understand open-ended questions are a useful tool, but good grief.

I think the topic of the question was completely on target but Doocy used such a loaded setup. I’d probably have called him an SOB too just not into a hot mic.

I still find it funny how quickly scripted press conferences became the norm.

I wouldn’t trust Doocy’s account of this. He’s a stupid SOB.
