I've seen people over the last two winters wearing masks and still seeing fog and cigarette smoke exiting these masks...

A mask can't block out everything. If it did you couldn't breath.

Now the mask crowd would have you believe that an N95 will stop covid.
They are call 95 because they stop 95% of particles that are .3 micron. The virus is .125 micron so that's crap. Point that our and they will tell you that the virus is mostly in droplets and they are larger than .3 microns., so you will still get 5% of the 100 million or so particles that were spewed.

Also most people have no clue how to properly size mask and if you have any facial hair they won't seal properly.

Yes, and most droplets just redirect and go around the mask, particularly around the nose area. Even with the precious K95 and N95 masks you still have 50 percent that push out around the mask even if you are clean shaven.

I was giving @evillawyer a hard time about the shortage that people are causing from buying up all the n95 mask, but I am concerned that people, including myself, that use these mask everyday to protect themselves from non covid hazards, will pay a price down the road.

Most of the mask are designed to be one time use and people are having to use them for weeks at a time. The reusable mask are cumbersome, expensive, and there is a shortage on the cartridges for them as well.

When will we see Google, Facebook or Twitter suspend accounts for misinformation when they say that getting the vaccine helps keep your neighbor safe or that it slows the spread?
