Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Can't sell Regeneron if you’re vaccinated I guess 🤷

The Florida Department of Health is confirming that Orange County Medical Director Dr. Raul Pino has been put on leave just because he encouraged department health employees to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

If you are not sure what dictatorship looks like, come to Florida.

Not a free speech issue.

It's just dumb policy. As a vaccinated person, these vaccines aren't preventing the spread at all. As a business person, who is struggling to find people, why would I put up more barriers to employment? It's dumb.
Got any data to show that the businesses that have a vaccine mandate are doing worse than competitors without a mandate? Otherwise:

For the pro-mask crowd:

Masks work by trapping x% of the viral particles I omit, right? That seems to be what all the “mask studies” I’ve seen show.

Doesn’t that mean they also trap the viral particles from others on my mask that then stays against my face all day?

They don’t care about that. They don’t care that it’s causing children to get sick with sinus infections on a frequent basis.

It does seem as if someone told them “this is what good people believe” and they just went with it. “I want to be good, good!”

My fully vaxxed, boosted and masked sister tested positive in one of the most strict places in this country NYC.

And I’m sure if you asked, no treatment was provided.

Real things you must believe to be Good, Good:

Covid is the second worst thing ever and very deadly (Jan 6 #1)

Masks, lockdowns, and vaccines are safe and effective and anyone opposing them should be forcefully shutdown or possibly incarcerated

All covid treatments are pseudosciencintific nonsense

So my 1 year old granddaughter was scheduled to have tubes put in her ears today but tested positive for covid so they couldn’t do it. They won’t reschedule for 21 days, they are going to let a 1 year old baby stay in pain because of a stupid policy.
What's the risk of doing tubes? Some adverse reaction from Covid going to cause issues for getting her ear drum pierced? I can still remember the last time I got tubes, no pain, just almost immediate relief of the pain.

My whole house tested positive. My 5 year old had a fever for 2 hours and that's it. My wife had body aches and a sore throat for a day and now a stuffy nose. I had a sore throat for a couple of days and a fever for less than 4 hours. My two year old has no symptoms. I'll consider my kids vaccinated now. And I'll consider my wife and I as boosted.

No idea. Per my daughter it’s considered an elective procedure or surgery and their policy is to wait 21 days after a positive test to schedule elective procedures. It just doesn’t make any damn sense to me.

That is what I saw in December. When I saw how easily it spread I knew everyone would get this.

At this point the masks, social distancing, etc need to be abandoned. It’s beyond absurd.

I would get it if you are going under. Anesthesiology is a delicate science so throwing in an illness could be a non starter imo.

But tubes should be less work than giving a shot.
A few years ago my son got them and we had to reschedule because he had a slight fever. He had almost a constant fever from the ear infections so finding a window was difficult. It was because of the anesthesia

They put them under now for that? Guess I was drawing too much from my own experience almost 30 years ago.

If mini piglet is going under I would understand the hesitancy.
