Any company that values its employees should be willing to invest in their health to a reasonable degree. Earning a paid sick leave day a month shouldn't be that much of an ask.

I guess I'm saying that at this point, testing is being overused. If you don't have symptoms, then why bother? The NFL has essentially embraced the idea that non-symptomatic spreading hasn't occurred. So only people showing obvious symptoms should be tested. And I can make the case that they really don't need to be tested. If they are sick, most people will do like they did pre-COVID and go home to recover.

Sadly mine doesn't and its a multi state casino corporation Right now the idiots can't figure out why nobody wants to work there and why long time employees are leaving for other jobs

I agree completely. I wish my employer did, though; I have to go for the deep brain tickle next week prior to classes restarting.

My fear is that as more people work from home, they will be incentivized to cut unpaid leave.

You can self isolate at home and still get work done, they would argue.

I had to work for a full year on "probation" before getting any PTO. Then I got a measly 5 days. Had to immediately use it after coming down with E. Coli, and thought they were going to lose their minds as I'm in the middle of losing 20 pounds in a week. F you Sumner County Sheriff's Office. Left shortly after. You're right, higher ups in these places are so detached from reality. I laugh seeing their constant recruiting efforts fail over and over.

Specific to the chart, are you saying that those states have a higher number of individuals with comorbidities? Could that also be related to lack of access to quality healthcare options?

"The federal government has cornered the entire market. They basically took control of the supply in September."

"The federal government is actively preventing the effective distribution of monoclonal antibody treatments in the U.S.," Ladapo wrote. "The sudden suspension of multiple monoclonal antibody therapy treatments from distribution to Florida removes a health care provider's ability to decide the best treatment options for their patients in this state."

I'm saying there's a lot of factors to consider and whether one votes dem or repub is not necessarily one of the useful ones. However, I suspect if you sort by highest per capita obesity and diabetes (worst co-morbities for covid death), the chart would end up looking very similar to the one with dem. vs. Repub. Madvax is trying to make it look like red people hate the vaccine and are thus dying from their stupidity. Much more likely that they are dying because they are already unhealthy and are squarely in the "at risk" demo for covid.

Well I think I have lost taste and smell. Feels and tastes like their is a film on my tongue. Sometimes I get La Croix level of flavors on things, but not sure if that's memory or actual taste. Smell comes and goes. Cant tell I am on the crapper at the moment but walking into Moes was like walking into heaven earlier.

Of course. One has to meet the regime’s shade de jour in order to qualify due to equity issues in medical treatments and if you won’t toe that bogus line, no treatments for your state.
