All Thangs Pussum and Chad Thread

The one time I did it was 75 degrees with 97% humidity when the race began. By the time I got to the 14th Street bridge I wanted to jump off.

I had great weather for both MCMs. Sherpa’d two friends that ran together in the pouring rain two years ago and I felt worse after that. I think I probably still jogged a half with a backpack full of their gear, regular pants and a rain jacket trying to meet them at three stops they wanted.

My favorite race is the Shamrock Marathon (also a half option). It’s on the Virginia Beach oceanfront and through Ft Story St Patty’s weekend. Rain, wind, slush, extreme heat. Raced in all of them throughout the years

The Big Sur marathon is on my bucket list as is a 50k in the Marin Headlands. I did the San Diego marathon when I was living in Wyoming. Training at 6200 feet and doing the race at sea level was awesome.

Big Sur seems like it would be epic. I want to do the vacation races (Tetons, Yellowstone, Zion, Rainer, etc)

I wear balega blister resist no show socks and love them. About to throw a couple pair away that are at least seven years old. Which means I get to but a couple new pair!

Balega Blister Resist No Show Socks For Men and Women (1 Pair)
I ordered that pair, with the oranch.

I also ordered a 6 pack of some that are described the same as the Balega but were $15 for the 6. Little comparison never hurt and worse case scenario I've got some new errday socks.

National Championships is on Tuner. That was fast. Didn't do well at the box office but I'm still watching it.

I ordered these last seeds from Bohica Pepper Hut. I didn't know what Bohica was until I got the seeds and it was explained. After a quick Google search, am I the only person in the world that didn't know? Lol.

So the thinning on the top is from the head board:cool: Had to google blousing straps. How's the recovered mud pump? Had to google mud pump too when you posted
On top... I blame the kids.lol That mud pump was unscathed and is in one of my sheds. Fawking thieves!

Cook me up some bacon and some beans.
And go out to the car and change the tyre.
Wash my socks and sew my old blue jeans.
Come on, baby, you can fill my pipe,
And then go fetch my slippers.
And boil me up another pot of tea.

HBPW at Calhouns picking up some smoked prime rib and grilled skrimps right now.

Lawdy! I'm bout to be fatter, dumber, and stupit happier then usual.
Yeah, I wasn't dishonest on purpose last night, but I was dishonest. I did lose 61 pounds, but I abandoned my diet during the month of December this year. Way too much good stuff to be eaten that I missed out on last year. So I've gained 11 of it back.

I begin fresh tomorrow morning at 4:45 am.
