Official Music City Bowl vs Purdue Thread: Zone Edition

That play dead annoys me...sometimes they stop it after 2 seconds....then sometimes they stop after 55.
This is just a bowl game. It will just be another memory of how Tennessee got screwed. It could be worse. It could have been a championship or something.
I wasn’t into this game at all today for whatever reason. Maybe it was Bama yesterday. But then in the end when it became obvious the fix was in. I got invested. Now I’m aggravated.
I wish I’d have stayed uninvested.

in years past, I have been very reluctant to question play calling
tonight, though, left me scratching my head a lot, and not just on the final drive of regulation when we really needed about 10 yards
always very conservative when it comes to going for it or trying the FG, was proven wrong once in this game with about 4 mins and 3 timeouts left, so won't go on with that
season showed a lot of promise, it's fun again, we need more depth

Way too many runs up the middle while Purdue was stacking the box and gassed

I do believe the fix was in.

I’m honestly surprised refs don’t get attacked more often.
There definitely needs to be a review process to keep drunks from throwing mustard again.
Probably needs to happen where they get paid full time to do just that and not be associated with any one conference.

Also, set up a damn training coarse before they’re sent out on the field, and I mean a bona fide structural course they have to pass before they’re allowed to throw their first flag. Sorry, I’m still pissed.

I think so too. It's amazing how calls are not consistent with every conference. Clemson won one of their NC on a pick play at the end of the game. It was Pac 12 refs, my BIL who is an Oregon Alum, said Pac never calls that.
